Lead Engineer at American Airlines

Hung Nguyen is a seasoned aerospace engineer with over three decades of experience at American Airlines. Since July 1991, Hung has served as a Lead Engineer, providing technical support and program management for the Airbus A330 aircraft and the Rolls-Royce Trent 772B jet engine program. Additionally, Hung played a key role in preparing the Technical Operation division for the 2018 introduction of the Airbus A350 and Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engine program. Prior experience includes a co-op position in Powerplant Engineering with American Airlines in early 1990, where Hung supported the MD-80 and Pratt & Whitney JT8D-200 series engine repair and overhaul operations. Hung holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University, obtained in 1991.
