Kristin Re, Ed.D, currently serves as the Coordinator for Educator Pipelines, Preparation, and Certification at the Rhode Island Department of Education and has held the position of Education Specialist. Additionally, Kristin is the Event Coordinator for the American Alpine Club and the Executive Director of the Ladies Climbing Coalition, a nonprofit focused on empowering women and nonbinary individuals in climbing spaces. With extensive teaching experience, Kristin has been a Professor at Johnson & Wales University since 2010, and has also contributed as an ELA Teacher and Instructional Coach at PVD Prep. Prior roles include English Teacher at Nowell Leadership Academy, Humanities Learning Facilitator at 360 High School, and Advisor at The Met School. Kristin's involvement in teacher leadership includes a fellowship with Teach Plus, advocating for personalized learning policy in Rhode Island. Kristin holds a Doctor of Education from Northeastern University and two degrees from Rhode Island College, including a Master's and Bachelor's in English.
