Andrea Spediacci

Andrea Spediacci has a diverse work experience across various industries. Andrea currently serves as the Director of Learning at the American Animal Hospital Association since July 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Veterinary Learning Strategist at the same organization from August 2022 to July 2023. Andrea also held the position of Project Manager, Content Strategy from December 2021 to August 2022.

In 2021, Andrea worked as an Editor in Medicine & Life Sciences at Cactus Communications from August 2021 to January 2022. Andrea also worked as a Pet Coach Independent Contractor at golexi from January 2021 to January 2022.

Andrea has also gained valuable experience in the field of veterinary medicine. Andrea worked as an Anatomic Pathology Extern at both Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences and The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019.

In addition, Andrea has experience in research and academic settings. Andrea worked as a Pulmonary Pathology and Immunology Researcher at the Center for Health and the Environment, UC Davis for approximately ten weeks in 2019.

Early in their career, Andrea owned and operated Speedy's Pet Care from January 2013 to April 2015. Andrea also worked at Dreamworks Animation as a Production Supervisor from September 2009 to October 2012, and as a Production Coordinator in Animation & Visual Development from October 2008 to September 2010.

Andrea Spediacci began their career as a Network & Streaming Coordinator at CBS in the SF market from March 2007 to March 2008. Andrea also held the role of Continuity Assistant at CBS from December 2005 to March 2007.

Andrea Spediacci pursued their education with a focus on Veterinary Medicine. Andrea completed their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General at Cañada College. Additionally, their education includes studies in Communication Studies at Universita' di Bologna, Bologna, Italia. Andrea also completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communications with a minor in Italian at UCLA.
