Karen Honey, PhD

Karen Honey, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of medical research and science editing. Karen started their career in 1999 as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Senior Fellow at the University of Washington. From 2003 to 2006, they worked at Nature Publishing Group as an Associate Editor and later as a Senior Editor of Nature Reviews Immunology. In 2006, they joined The Journal of Clinical Investigation as a News & Reviews Editor, and later became a Science Editor from 2010 to 2012. Since 2012, they have been associated with the American Association for Cancer Research, starting as a Senior Managing Editor of Science Communications, then transitioning to the role of Senior Associate Editor of Cancer Immunology Research. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Editor at Cancer Immunology Research.
