Joseph Ersek

Joseph Ersek has a strong background in IT and digital operations. Joseph is currently serving as the Director of Digital Operations at the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Digital Technology Strategy at the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) from April 2018 to December 2021.

From March 2013 to April 2018, Joseph held the position of Director of IT at AIIM International, where they managed all IT functions, collaborated with senior staff, and facilitated company growth. Before that, they were the Owner and Sr. Technician at Hurricane Computers from January 2010 to March 2013, where they successfully managed two retail locations of a computer repair and support business.

Joseph also gained valuable experience at Tyco / ADT, where they served in various roles. Joseph was a Sr. Operator from January 2006 to January 2009, ensuring the smooth operation of communication bridge sites and network integrity. Prior to that, they worked as an I.S. Support Technician from January 2003 to January 2006, providing PC/WAN/LAN support in a fast-paced call center environment. Joseph also served as a Web Master, Tools Development and Design Consultant, and Custom Accounts Supervisor at Tyco / ADT.

Before their time at Tyco / ADT, Joseph worked as a Network Technician at Jeffcoat Blueprinting from January 1997 to January 1999, where they installed, maintained, and troubleshot LAN, PC hardware, and software.

Joseph Ersek obtained their A.S in Computer Networking from ITT Technical Institute, where they studied from 1999 to 2001. Joseph then pursued a B.S in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix between 2002 and 2004. In addition to their degrees, Joseph has obtained certifications such as Certified Information Professional from AIIM International in February 2017, Inbound from HubSpot in January 2017, BPM Practitioner from AIIM International in October 2015, ERM Practitioner from AIIM International in December 2014, and ECM Practitioner from AIIM International in November 2014.
