Javier Mendoza

Javier Mendoza has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Javier started their career as a Civil Engineer at Soiltech Pilotaje, C.A. from an unknown start date until January 2015.

From January 2015 to December 2020, they worked as the Director of eCommerce at Hot Chocolate Design, where they were responsible for implementing and overseeing the eCommerce strategy across multiple channels. Javier also managed various aspects of the business, including customer service, inventory, and P&L management.

In January 2021, Javier joined illycaffè as the Sr. Manager of eCommerce, where they led a team in maximizing revenue and ROI on platforms like Amazon. Javier also developed and implemented strategic growth plans to drive sustainable financial performance.

As of July 2023, Javier holds the position of Head of Digital & Commercial Operations at illycaffè. In this role, they are responsible for digital business forecasting, defining digital commercial strategy, managing product launches, and overseeing product sales and distribution.

Javier Mendoza completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at IESA from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from the Universidad Metropolitana (VE) between 2005 and 2010.
