Kate Drezek McConnell currently serves as Vice President for Curricular & Pedagogical Innovation and Executive Director of the VALUE initiative at the Association of American Colleges and Universities, a role held since September 2015. Prior to this position, Kate held various roles at Virginia Tech from August 2005 to August 2015, including Director of Assessment for Undergraduate Academic Affairs. Earlier experience includes positions at Stonehill College, where Kate was Director of Planning and Institutional Research. Academically, Kate Drezek McConnell earned a PhD in Educational Psychology from Virginia Tech, a Master's degree in American History from Providence College, and a Bachelor of Arts degree as an Echols Scholar from the University of Virginia.
