Martha A.

Martha A. has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Martha began their most recent position in 2016 at the American Association of Diabetes Educators, where they worked on the Member Engagement Team. Prior to that, Martha served as the Director of Continuing Education at the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons from 2014 to 2016. Martha also worked as a Project Coordinator for Advocacy and Professional Development at the Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals from 2012 to 2014. Martha's earlier experience includes a role as a Special Education Teacher at the Indian Prairie School District 204 from 2007 to 2012.

Martha A. completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications & Business at Benedictine University. Martha then pursued higher education at National Louis University, where they obtained a Masters degree in Special Education and Teaching. In addition to their formal education, Martha also holds a certification as a Certified Association Executive (CAE) from ASAE.
