John Wilson

President Elect at American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS)

John Wilson has a diverse work experience in the field of neurological surgery. John currently holds the position of President Elect at the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) since 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Wake Forest Baptist Health starting from 1993, where they served as a Professor, Vice Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery, and Co-Director of the Neuroscience Service Line. Additionally, they were also involved with the AANS CNS Cerebrovascular Section, where they served as the Past Chair from 2009 to 2010.

In 1977, John enrolled in Penn State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Science. John studied there until 1980.
