Alexis Knaub

Alexis Knaub is an experienced professional in physics and astronomy education, currently serving as the Director of the Physics and Astronomy SEA Change program at the American Association of Physics Teachers since March 2020. In this role, Alexis focuses on equity initiatives for postsecondary departments, while also managing two key projects related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the AIP Federation. With a strong background in evaluation, Alexis has worked as an external evaluator on STEM education projects, and previously held various academic and administrative roles at institutions such as Western Michigan University and Boston University. Alexis holds an Ed.D. in Physics Education from Boston University, an MS in Physics from DePaul University, and a BA in Physics from Smith College.
