Hakima Mokrane

Hakima Mokrane PhD is a seasoned professional in the fields of AI, astronomy, and astrophysics. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Advisors at Fountech since March 2021, Mokrane also mentors startups at Newchip Accelerator and holds the position of AI Fellow at Insight Data Science, focusing on eye tracking and gaze prediction software development. With a robust research background as a Senior Research Scientist at Observatoire de Bordeaux, Mokrane specializes in gas grain chemical modeling of the interstellar medium. Mokrane is actively involved in multiple professional societies, including the Association for Computing Machinery and the American Astronomical Society, and contributes as a reviewer and editor for various scientific journals. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Molecular Astrophysics from Observatoire de Paris and a Master’s degree in Physics from Paris-Sud University.
