Nicole Cabrera Salazar

Nicole Cabrera Salazar is an accomplished professional in the field of astronomy and astrophysics, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Movement Consulting since February 2018. Nicole's leadership extends to the American Astronomical Society, where Nicole co-chairs the Committee on the Status of Minorities in Astronomy, advocating for astronomers of color through impactful initiatives and outreach efforts. With a strong educational background, including two PhD degrees in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Georgia State University and Université Joseph Fourier, Nicole has held various research and mentorship roles, from conducting exoplanet research as a Graduate Research Assistant to developing workshops for students at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
