Kelly Russo serves as the Director of the Commission on Homelessness & Poverty at the American Bar Association, a position held since December 2015. Previously, Kelly Russo was an Attorney and a Research Fellow at the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative. Additional experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Wake Forest University School of Law, and various internships that provided experience in litigation, legal research, and policy development across different organizations, including the US Department of Justice and Forsyth County District Attorney's Office. Education includes a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Wake Forest University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English, Communication, and Women’s and Gender Studies from Wake Forest University.
