Ann Pikus has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ann currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at the American Bar Foundation. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Programs and Operations and later as the Interim Director of Operations at the same organization. Before joining the American Bar Foundation, Ann worked as a Grants and Program Officer and Grants Officer. Ann also has experience as a Grant Writer at the Lincoln Park Zoo. Ann has previous legal experience as well, having worked as a Vice President Legal at GLP US Management LLC and as a Real Estate Associate at Seyfarth Shaw. Ann began their career as an Associate at Schiff Hardin LLP. Ann's early professional experience includes a role as the Institutional Record Data Supervisor in the Psycho-Legal Studies Program at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine.
Ann Pikus earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and Political Science from Northwestern University in 1999. Ann later went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the years between 2003 and 2007. Pikus also attended the University of Wisconsin Law School and obtained a J.D. degree from 2004 to 2007.
