Lisa Modesto

Lisa Modesto has a diverse background in finance and accounting. Lisa currently holds the position of Director of Finance at the American Bar Foundation since February 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Accenture as a Manager, US Controllership from January 2007 to March 2014. Lisa also has experience as Manager, Fund Accounting at Northwestern Memorial Hospital from August 2001 to December 2006, where they managed the accounting function for operations of Northwestern Memorial Foundation and restricted funds. Lisa was responsible for preparing financial statements, coordinating annual budget and audit processes, and managing treasury accounting function for investments. Lisa's career began at Arthur Andersen as a Senior Auditor/Consultant, where they managed accounting functions for nationwide benefit plans. Lisa also conducted fraud and forensic accounting investigations and supervised financial statement and OMB A-133 audits for various organizations.

Lisa Modesto attended Penn State University from 1989 to 1995, where they pursued a double major in Accounting and Nutrition, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in both fields.
