Richard A. Arseneault serves as the Cemetery Superintendent at the Brookwood American Cemetery and has held similar roles at the Flanders Field American Cemetery, where responsibilities included oversight of various American monuments. Richard chairs the Superintendent Leadership Council, advocating for improvements within the American Battle Monuments Commission, which oversees 26 cemeteries across 10 countries. Prior to this, Richard accrued extensive experience in the US Navy, culminating in the position of Senior Enlisted Advisor for the Engineering Department on a gas turbine destroyer, overseeing multiple engineering programs and providing technical support for various naval vessels. Richard holds a Master of Professional Studies in Project Management from Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies, a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and has completed Leadership Principles training at Harvard Business School.
