Alex Gumiroff, MD, MBA, MHA, FACOG, currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital, a position held since May 2023. Alex has been a Fellow at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a Diplomate with the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology since January 2016. Prior experience includes System Medical Director of Obstetrical Services and OBGYN Department Chair at Lee Health, as well as various roles at Ob Hospitalist Group and HCA Florida Kendall Hospital. Alex completed an OBGYN residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and an internship at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. Alex holds an MD from St. Matthew's University, an MBA from Davenport University, a Master’s in Health Services Administration from Saint Joseph's College, and completed a Physician Leadership Development Program through the American Association for Physician Leadership.

Board certification is a voluntary process for those physicians who choose to pursue certification.
