Shaun Burke Csp, Chst

Shaun Burke, CSP, CHST has over 22 years of work experience in various safety and environmental roles. Shaun'smost recent position was as the Director of Health, Safety and Environmental at American Bridge Company. Prior to that, they served as the Director, Safety Health and Environmental at Balfour Beatty Construction for seven years. Shaun also worked as the Regional Safety Manager at Westfield from 2010 to 2013. Shaun gained significant experience as the Director of Safety at JD2 Inc from 2003 to 2010, where they also served as a Systems Administrator. Shaun started their career as a Systems Engineer at Gap Inc in 1998.

Shaun Burke, CSP, CHST has a diverse education history that encompasses various fields. In 1996, they attended the College of Marin, where they studied engineering for three years. Following that, from 1999 to 2002, Burke pursued a liberal arts education at Sierra College, where they obtained an AA degree. In the year 2000 to 2001, they attended Heald College, focusing on Windows Networking and earning an MSCE certificate. Later, in 2012, Burke enrolled in Columbia Southern University and obtained an AAS, Associate of Applied Science degree in Occupational Safety and Health. Alongside their education, Burke has also obtained additional certifications as a Certified Safety Professional and a Construction Health and Safety Technician from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
