Andrew N. Young is an experienced IT professional with extensive expertise in software development and systems architecture. Currently serving as the Lead.NET Solutions Developer at the American Cancer Society's National Home Office since June 2008, Andrew has been responsible for the development of the new website https://connection.cancer. Prior positions include serving as a Senior IT Consultant for Norfolk Southern Railroad at Open Systems Technologies and as a Senior IT Consultant and System Architect at Compuware, where contributions were made across various industries such as transportation, automotive, and insurance. Andrew's career began in engineering with a background as a Graduate Engineer at Plessey Naval Systems, followed by roles in programming and consulting at Sara Lee Corporation and Euro Systems Unilever. Andrew holds a B(Eng) with honors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bradford and a technology diploma from Wigan College of Technology.
