Brittany Lawton

Brittany Lawton serves as the Associate Director of Development for Premier Events at the American Cancer Society since March 2021, leading a team focused on significant revenue generation through strategic partnerships and fundraising initiatives. Previously, Brittany held the position of Director at the Greater Smithtown Chamber of Commerce Inc., where responsibilities included overseeing the Chamber's strategic direction and financial management. Additionally, Brittany worked as the Area Director for Autism Speaks in New York, where efforts were aimed at expanding the organization’s mission and fundraising events. Earlier roles at the American Cancer Society included Senior Community Development Manager and various managerial positions related to significant community events, emphasizing relationship-building and advocacy. Brittany holds an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Suffolk County Community College and has continued education at Stony Brook University.
