Christopher Hansen

Christopher Hansen serves as the President of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, a role held since 2010, where responsibilities include fundraising and advocacy for cancer-related legislation at both state and federal levels. Prior to this position, Christopher served as President of TechAmerica from November 2007 to May 2010 and as CEO of AARP from March 2002 to October 2007. Earlier experience includes a tenure as Group Executive Officer at Boeing from May 1986 to February 2002, alongside a role as Senior Vice President of Government Relations. Christopher Hansen holds a Master's degree in International Management with a focus on Marketing Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BA in Political Science from the University of Denver.
