Rithi Ramamurthy is currently serving as the President’s Cabinet-Secretary of Health and Wellbeing at the University of South Carolina Student Government, facilitating communication and planning health and safety initiatives. Ramamurthy holds research assistant positions at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, focusing on Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome under Dr. Kiesha Wilson, and at the Arnold School of Public Health, contributing to studies on food security and telehealth execution in perinatal care. As the founder and CEO of Laugh For Lungs ®, Ramamurthy promotes pro-active lung health, while also engaging as a Student Fellow at the University of Michigan to address healthcare inequities. Ramamurthy's extensive internship experiences include roles at Ascension, Stanford University School of Medicine, and Rochester Medical Group, complemented by a strong academic foundation in a BS/MD program and public health at the University of South Carolina.
