Suzanne Swanson

Suzanne Swanson is an accomplished communications and marketing professional with extensive experience at the American Cancer Society since March 2007, currently serving as Regional Vice President of Communications & Marketing for the North Region. In this role, Suzanne provides senior-level communications counsel and strategic planning focused on advancing the organization's revenue and mission priorities. Previous positions at the Society include Senior Director of Communications and Managing Director of Communications Strategy, where Suzanne led initiatives to promote health equity and engaged in community health programs. Earlier in her career, Suzanne worked at JAMF Software as Director of Marketing & Communications and at Barsuhn as Director of Client Services, managing client engagement strategies. Suzanne began her career in education, teaching art at Nate Mack School. Suzanne holds a Post-baccalaureate degree in Education and a Bachelor's degree in Communications & Applied Design from the University of Minnesota, alongside notable leadership training through various programs associated with the American Cancer Society.
