Kullie Kennedy

As Government Grants Manager at the American Center for Mobility, Kullie oversees project management of all government funded research projects where the focus is on automated and connected vehicles, data collection, design, model validation, standards, city demonstrations, testing, and energy consumption reduction.

Kullie is a 1995 graduate (AA) – Summa Cum Laude – of the College of West Africa Junior College, and a 2001 Accounting Graduate (BBA) of the University of Liberia with more than twenty years’ combined experience in the areas of Banking, International Governmental Financial Management, Legal Research and writing and a rich experience in managing grants and improving grantmaking processes. He was also graduated, Summa Cum Laude, from the Oakland Community College with an associate degree in Paralegal studies in 2011. Kullie comes with proven success in overseeing pre- and post-award functions, developing grant/contract applications, and improving award management systems. Prior to joining ACM, Kullie worked as a Senior Project Representative with the University of Michigan’s Office of Research and Sponsored Projects where he participated in safeguarding the conduct of research and other sponsored activity by applying specialized regulatory, statutory and organizational knowledge in a way that balanced the University’s mission, sponsors’ objectives, and investigators’ intellectual pursuits. Kullie excelled at forging meaningful and lasting relationships, negotiating contracts, and strengthening cross-campus collaborations by relying on an excellent knowledge of Federal Sponsors. Kullie also worked with Ecobank, Liberia; United Bank for Africa, Liberia; and UNICEF, Liberia.
