Senior Vice President, Chief Client Officer at American Century Investments

Joe Schultz is currently the Senior Vice President, Chief Client Officer at American Century Investments. Prior to this role, Joe was the Head of Sales and Relationship Management, Managing Director at Goldman Sachs from July 2006 to April 2013. In this role, Joe was responsible for strategy and business development for Goldman Sachs Asset Management's U.S. broker dealer business. Joe led sales and relationship management organizations to establish and execute sales plans, business developments and client alignments. The team distributed equity, fixed income and alternative investment solutions. Joe also helped develop existing talent and recruit complimentary professionals to execute distribution strategies.

Before working at Goldman Sachs, Joe was the Director of Sales and Distribution for Managed Account Consulting Group at Prudential Financial from January 2000 to December 2006. In this role, Joe was responsible for external and internal sales, account management and financial advisor training. The team focused on helping Prudential’s intermediary clients build and execute sales strategies to gather and retain assets via managed accounts and wrap fee mutual fund platforms. The team serviced a $46 billion asset base.

Joe Schultz earned their BS in Finance/Economics from Fordham University.
