George Zaidan

Writer And Host

George Zaidan is an accomplished writer, host, and producer with extensive experience in educational media and broadcasting. Since February 2018, George has served as a writer and host for the American Chemical Society while also holding the role of Assistant Director. As the Founder and CEO of Free Energy Productions LLC since 2010, George focuses on educational video production. Additional roles include author at Penguin Random House since May 2018, producer and media consultant at MIT, TED-Ed educator at TED Conferences, and host and co-writer for Armed with Science on The Pentagon Channel. Previous experiences include co-hosting CNBC's "Make Me a Millionaire Inventor," creating and hosting "Ingredients" for National Geographic, and anchoring for Nautilus Live. George's career is supported by a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, obtained in 2008.
