Madeline Monroe

Madeline Monroe is an experienced Editorial Designer currently working at The Hill since January 2020, where responsibilities include planning layouts, photo illustrating editorial content, and coordinating advertising placements. Previously, Monroe gained valuable experience as an Editorial Intern at The Virginia Gazette, writing nearly 80 news articles, and as a News Editor for The Flat Hat, where leadership involved training interns and arranging print layouts. Additional internships included a DCSI News & Media Fellow role at William & Mary and a Community Engagement Intern position at The Jane Goodall Institute. Madeline Monroe holds a degree in English from William & Mary, attended Christopher Newport University, and has a portfolio showcasing professional work.
