Peng Wang is an accomplished academic and expert in environmental science and engineering with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as an Expert Panel Member for the Next Generation Sanitation Systems Project at the International Water Association and Gates Foundation, a Judge for XPRIZE Water Scarcity, and a Co-President of the International Atmospheric Water Harvesting Association, Peng Wang is deeply engaged in addressing global water challenges. Additionally, as the Founding Director of the Institute of Carbon Neutrality and Green Development and Chair Professor at Sun Yat-sen University, responsibilities include developing innovative curricula and overseeing academic affairs. Past positions include Full Professor at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology and Associate Professor at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Educational qualifications include a PhD and a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Management from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master's degree from Sun Yat-sen University.
