Tracy Costello

Tracy Costello, PhD, currently serves as Assistant Dean for Postdoctoral Affairs and Graduate Student Success and Director of Postdoctoral Affairs and Graduate Student Development at the University of South Florida since December 2021. Responsibilities include strategic planning, budget management, staff supervision, and advocacy for postdoctoral policies. Costello also founded Coach4Postdocs, providing career coaching and professional development to early and mid-career scholars since 2012. Additional roles include Executive Coach at STEMPeers® and Vice President for US Relations on the Board of Directors, contributing to professional development for postdocs. Previous positions include Director of Postdoctoral Affairs at Moffitt Cancer Center and Program Manager at MD Anderson Cancer Center, alongside various leadership roles in the National Postdoctoral Association. Costello holds a PhD in Biomathematics & Biostatistics from UT MD Anderson Cancer Center and a BS in Mathematics and Physics from The University of Southern Mississippi.
