Cherie Weible has a diverse work experience spanning across different organizations and roles. Cherie is currently working at the American Chemistry Council as the Senior Director of Strategy and Global Affairs, where they lead the implementation of strategies to promote chemical management policies globally and engage in various forums. Prior to this, they worked at Zenith Global Advisors LLC as a Principal.

Cherie also has extensive experience in the U.S. Department of Commerce, where they held various positions. Cherie served as the Director of the Office of ASEAN and the Pacific Basin, where they built and managed a team that provided assistance to US companies doing business in Southeast Asia and the Pacific Basin. Additionally, they served as the Director for Central and Southeast Europe, overseeing efforts to expand market access for US products in 17 countries. Cherie also worked as a Senior International Trade Specialist, improving market access barriers and intellectual property protection in Turkey, Slovenia, and Macedonia. Cherie also served as the Chief of Staff to the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe and as a Senior Policy Advisor.

Cherie's experience also includes working as the Acting Director for Strategic Initiatives at UL and as a Senior International Trade Specialist at the Pittsburgh Export Assistance Center of the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Cherie Weible has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing from Kent State University. Cherie also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Business from The George Washington University. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies from Emeritus in 2023.
