Erich Shea has a strong background in communications and marketing. Erich is currently the Director of Product Communications at the American Chemistry Council, a position they have held since 2020. Prior to this role, Erich worked at National Public Radio for over a decade as a Communications Manager, where they were responsible for managing and developing technical and engineering-focused communications. Before joining NPR, Erich held roles at SpeakerBox Communications as a Business Development/Account Director, at Weber Shandwick as an Account Director, and at Booz Allen Hamilton as a Marketing Manager and Editor.
Erich Shea attended the University of Portland from 1988 to 1992 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism.
