Ian Choiniere has a diverse background in government affairs, public affairs coordination, and communications. Ian is currently the Director of Product Advocacy at the American Chemistry Council, where they lead the Spray Foam Coalition and oversees advocacy for the Center for the Polyurethanes Industry. Prior to this, they worked as a Manager of Product Communications at the American Chemistry Council. Ian also has experience as a Public Affairs Coordinator at the American Wood Council and as a Government Affairs Assistant at Seaboard Corporation, where they represented the company before various government entities and built coalitions with trade associations. Additionally, they served as a Congressional Intern in the U.S. House of Representatives and as a Field Coordinator for the North Carolina Republican Party. Ian started their career as an intern at Odyssey Woodworks LLC.
Ian Choiniere received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2014. In 2013, they also attended the University of Valencia, where they studied Business Law and Spanish.
