Ryan Baldwin

Senior Director, Strategic & Executive Communications at American Chemistry

Ryan Baldwin has a diverse work history, starting in 2004 as a summer intern at CNN. Ryan then worked as a legal assistant at Oliff PLC in 2005 and an issue analyst at TMG Strategies from 2007 to 2009. In 2010, Ryan joined the American Chemistry Council, where they held various positions, including manager of issue communications and director of issue communications. Their most recent role at the American Chemistry Council was senior director of strategic and executive communications. Their work there involved managing a $150 million budget and advocating for the chemistry industry.

Ryan Baldwin holds a Master of Science (MSc.) degree in Distinction from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), which they completed in 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with Magna Cum Laude and High Honors from Vanderbilt University in 2005. In 2003, Ryan attended Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. Ryan also studied at Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici in Florence, Italy in 2002. Ryan completed their secondary education at The Westminster Schools in Atlanta, GA in 2001. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Talk So People Listen | 3-Day Speaker Training Certificate from Speakeasy in 2020 and an Advanced Certified Personal and Executive Coach (ACPEC) certification from the College of Executive Coaching in 2015.
