John Asmus

John Asmus has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. John started their career as a Landscaper at FIDELIS INVESTMENTS LIMITED in 2016 and then served as a Cadet First Lieutenant in the Army JROTC from 2013 to 2017. John gained clinical experience in the periodontic field as a Shadowing Student at Synergy Periodontics and Implants in 2018. In the same year, they also worked as a Trip Leader and Attendant at the University of Mary Washington. John further expanded their medical experience by being a Shadowing Student at Pediatric Partners of Stafford from 2020 to 2021. John was actively involved in various leadership roles at UMW Pre-Health Society from 2017 to 2021, including being a Member, Vice President/PreDental Chair, and Senior Advisor. John also contributed to Global Brigades, Inc. from 2018 to 2021, holding positions such as President and Program Development Chair. Additionally, they worked as a Gastroenterologic Procedure Coordinator and Medical Receptionist at COLON STOMACH & LIVER CENTER in 2021 and as Event Staff at West Chiropractic Clinic from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they are serving as the SACA Vice President - NUHS-FL at the American Chiropractic Association, beginning in 2023.

John Asmus has a diverse and comprehensive education history. John pursued their Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from the National University of Health Sciences, which they completed between 2022 and 2025. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, with a focus on General Biology, from the University of Mary Washington, from 2017 to 2021. Before entering university, John completed their high school education at Colonial Forge High School, where they received an Advanced Studies Diploma from 2013 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, John Asmus has also obtained certification in the Functional Soft Tissue with FAKTR course, which they completed in March 2023. This certification was obtained through FAKTR, INC.
