Melodie Moore

Melodie Moore is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in financial management and operations across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at American City Business Journals since June 2020, Melodie oversees and prepares monthly financial reports for 12 markets nationwide and assists with forecasting. Prior to this role, Melodie held positions at Triad Business Journal, where responsibilities included managing financial operations and budget preparation, and at Reidsville Area Foundation, focusing on proposal review and financial analysis. Additional experience includes serving as Acting Foundation Director and Senior Accountant at Morehead Memorial Hospital, and progressing from Staff Accountant to Senior Accountant at Charles L. Burkett, CPA, where Melodie specialized in tax preparation and financial statement management. Melodie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina and an Associate degree in Accounting from Rockingham Community College.
