Assistant General Counsel at American Clean Power Association (ACP)

Gabe Tabak is currently serving as Assistant General Counsel at the American Clean Power Association (ACP) since May 2019, where responsibilities include leading advocacy on federal electricity regulation. Prior roles include Senior Counsel, Counsel, and Associate at Van Ness Feldman, LLP from September 2013 to May 2019, focusing on energy market issues, compliance, and providing counsel to both utilities and industrial customers. Prior to this, significant experience included a Research Assistant position at the University of Michigan Energy Institute and internships at the California Independent System Operator and Van Ness Feldman. Gabe began a career in the legal field as an Antitrust Paralegal at the U.S. Department of Justice. Gabe holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in College of Social Studies from Wesleyan University.
