Margaret Lemmerman currently serves as the Head of Federal Affairs for Offshore North America at Ørsted since March 2020. With extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, Margaret has been with the American Wind Energy Association since May 2011, progressing from Director of Federal Legislative Affairs to Senior Director and then to Manager of Federal Legislative Affairs. Prior to this, Margaret worked as a Senior Policy Advisor at the British Embassy from July 2008 to May 2011 and served as a Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives from January 2004 to July 2008. Margaret holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Columbia University, obtained between 2001 and 2004.
