ACAAI
Katy Allen is an experienced education professional currently serving as an Education Program Specialist at the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology since January 2023. Previously, Katy held the position of Director of Children's Ministries at First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights from February 2015 to January 2023, where a youth mission program was successfully expanded from 20 to 60 participants within three years. Katy has also worked as a special education paraprofessional in various school districts, providing essential support to students with special needs. Earlier career roles included managing professional development services and administrative coordination in educational settings, demonstrating a strong ability to design and execute programs and events. Katy holds a BA/BS in English and Elementary Education from Southern Connecticut State University.
ACAAI
The ACAAI is a professional medical organization of more than 6,000 allergists-immunologists and allied health professionals, headquartered in Arlington Heights, Ill. The College fosters a culture of collaboration and congeniality in which its members work together and with others toward the common goals of patient care, education, advocacy and research. ACAAI allergists are board-certified physicians trained to diagnose allergies and asthma, administer immunotherapy, and provide patients with the best treatment outcomes.
