Christopher Zach Cissp

Christopher Zach CISSP, CISM serves as the Director of CyberSecurity at the American College of Cardiology since March 2023, leading efforts to safeguard cyber assets for a prominent association. In addition, Christopher is an adjunct Professor of Cybersecurity at Howard Community College, fostering the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. Prior experience includes a significant role as Enterprise Architect for Information Security at Allegis Group, where responsibilities encompassed the design and implementation of global information security architecture, and as Information Security Officer at AAAS, overseeing enterprise-wide information protection strategies. Early career highlights include managing IT operations and network infrastructure at AAAS, serving as Senior Security Architect at CounterPane Internet Security, and working as Network Manager for the IEEE Computer Society. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity Management and Policy from the University of Maryland and an Associate of Science in Computer Science from Catonsville Community College.
