Edward Diamond

Edward Diamond serves as the Medical Director of the Thoracic Division at AMITA Health since July 2019. In addition, Edward holds multiple leadership roles within professional organizations including President Elect, Treasurer of the Board of Trustees, and Treasurer at the Foundation of American College of Chest Physicians since 2007. Edward oversees financial operations for The Chest Foundation as President Designate since September 2017 and has been the President and Managing Partner at Suburban Lung Associates since 1982, guiding its growth from a solo practice to a comprehensive pulmonary, critical care, and allergy organization with 35 providers and 100 employees across four hospital networks in the Chicago area. Edward's educational background includes an MBA from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, an MD from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University, and a BA in Psychology from Yale University.
