Erik Osborn

Erik Osborn serves as the Medical Director for Adult Extracorporeal Support at the American College of Chest Physicians since September 2011 and also functions as a Chest Educator. In addition, Erik Osborn holds positions in Pulmonary Critical Care and Cardiac and Pulmonary Critical Care at Mary Washington Healthcare, starting in January 2022. Previous roles include Extracorporeal Support Medical Director at Inova Health System from February 2015 to July 2021, and a distinguished career in the US Army Medical Corps, where Erik Osborn served as a Colonel and held various leadership roles, including Bronchoscopy Director at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital and ECLS physician at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii. Erik Osborn completed an MD at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and earned a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Princeton University, following education at Deerfield Academy.
