Richa Nahar

Richa Nahar, MD, is an Attending Physician in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Northwell Health since August 2024. In addition to clinical practice, Richa Nahar serves on the Quality Improvement and Implementation Committee for the American Thoracic Society and as a Committee Member for the Training and Transitions Committee at the American College of Chest Physicians. Previously, Richa Nahar held the position of Chief Fellow in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and contributed to various committees focused on quality and safety during fellowship. Richa Nahar's academic career includes an Assistant Professorship at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where involvement in clinical quality initiatives was prominent. Richa Nahar completed an Internal Medicine residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and holds an M.B.B.S. from Government Medical College, Surat.
