Mardel Ahleong, PHR, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Mardel currently holds the position of Vice President, Human Resources at the American College of Healthcare Executives, a role they have held since June 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Human Resources at the same organization from December 2015 to June 2020.
Before joining the American College of Healthcare Executives, Mardel worked as the Director of Human Resources at Community First Medical Center from January 2015 to December 2015.
Previous to that, Mardel had a brief stint as the Director of Human Resources at Presence Health in November 2014, and prior to that, they held the position of Employment Specialist at the same organization from September 2011 to November 2014.
Mardel's early work experience includes a role in Human Resources at Target from September 2007 to September 2011. Mardel started their career at Great Lakes Dredge & Dock in August 1994, where they held various roles such as Supervisor, Office Manager, and Crewing Coordinator until February 2007.
Mardel Ahleong, PHR, SHRM-CP has a strong educational background in business administration. They hold an MBA degree in Business Administration from Northern Illinois University and a BA degree in General Business from Bowling Green State University. In addition to their degrees, Mardel has also obtained various certifications to enhance their professional skills. They are certified as a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) by SHRM, which they obtained in March 2015. They are also a Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certified by HRCI, which they obtained in April 2007. Mardel's educational and certification achievements demonstrate their commitment to developing their expertise in the field of human resources and business administration.
