Michelle Munroe has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the healthcare field. Michelle currently serves as the Interim Chief Executive Officer at the American College of Nurse-Midwives since April 2023. Prior to this, they were the Chief Executive Officer at the Coastal Georgia Women's Foundation from June 2022. Michelle Munroe DNP, APRN, CNM, FACNM, FAAN has an extensive education history. In 2001 to 2003, they pursued their Masters of Science in Nursing/Midwifery at the University of Maryland Baltimore. Following this, from 2013 to 2014, they attended Frontier Nursing University, where they earned their Doctor of Nursing Practice with a focus on Education. Later on, they joined The United States Army War College, completing their Master of Strategic Studies in 2017.
