V. Ramana Dhara is a seasoned professional in public health and environmental health, currently serving as a Fellow at the American College of Occupational & Environmental Medicine since April 2012 and as a Professor at the Indian Institute of Public Health, PHFI since January 2019. Prior experience includes a tenure at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from October 2006 to April 2017, holding positions as Physician and Medical Director. V. Ramana Dhara earned a Doctor of Science in Environmental Health from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Master of Public Health in Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
