Dennis Sherman

Dennis Sherman has extensive experience in education and crisis management. Currently serving as an Artist at Sock Umm since January 2019, Dennis also contributes as the Chairman of the Save Ocean Avenue Committee and Vice President of the Long Branch Coalition of Condominiums Associations since March 2005. In addition, Dennis has been a Criminal Justice Instructor at Brookdale Community College since September 2003 and a freelance trainer for the American Correctional Association's National Institute of Corrections since January 1986, specializing in Hostage Negotiations and Disturbance Management. Dennis's earlier career included roles as a Teacher, Supervisor, and Education Director for New York State from September 1968 to April 2002, culminating in a position as Director of NYS Crisis Intervention and Hostage Negotiations for the New York State Department of Corrections from January 1980 to September 1985.
