Ivette Garcia

Ivette Garcia is a seasoned professional in the field of corrections with extensive experience at the American Correctional Association as a National & International Auditor since May 2017. Prior to this role, Ivette Garcia served for 30 years at the Orange County Corrections Department, culminating in the position of Retired Correctional Sergeant, where responsibilities included supervising Correctional Corporals and Officers, managing duty rosters, payroll transmittals, scheduling, and conducting evaluations. Ivette Garcia holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Leadership from Mountain State University (2010-2012), a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Everest University (2005-2009), and has legal education from Blackstone School of Law (1993-1995) as well as Interamerican University in Puerto Rico (1978-1983).
