Laura Mowry

Laura Mowry currently serves as a Program Manager at the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) since 2023 and has been working as a freelancer since 2022. Previous experience includes roles as a Program Associate at The Catalyst Foundation for Universal Education from 2018 to 2021, and as a Project Associate at Citizens Union within the NYU Advanced Project in Policy from 2017 to 2018. Laura's earlier career includes serving as ISIP Coordinator and Senior Placement Assistant at New York University School of Law from 2013 to 2018, a Tutor at Hello English.us from 2011 to 2013, and an Assistant Language Teacher with the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program from 2008 to 2010. Laura began the professional journey as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan from 2007 to 2008. Laura holds a Master of Public Administration from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a Spanish Minor from the University of Michigan.
