Mary Richter

Mary Richter has over 20 years of experience in the field of development and fundraising. Mary has held leadership positions at various educational institutions, including The Allen-Stevenson School, The Brearley School, and The Nightingale-Bamford School. In addition, they have worked as a Consultant for non-profit organizations, providing strategic guidance on fundraising and campaign planning. Mary is currently serving as the Chief Development Officer at the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS).

Mary Richter attended Nightingale from 1981 to 1993 to complete their pre-college education. Afterward, they went on to study at Bates College from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology. Additionally, in 1990 and 1991, Mary Richter took part in a Swiss Semester program, although no specific degree or field of study is provided for this experience.
