Amiee J. Shelton

Amiee J. Shelton, MBA, Ph.D., APR, is a Professor of Public Relations at Roger Williams University, where responsibilities include leading the public relations major and teaching courses in Public Relations, Strategic Communication, and Marketing Communication. With extensive experience in higher education, Shelton has held various positions including Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Director of Prior Learning & Assessment at Roger Williams University. Shelton actively contributes to the American Council on Education as a Program Reviewer and has served as a visiting professor at multiple institutions, including Constantine the Philosopher University and Clark University. Education credentials include a Ph.D. in Humanities from Salve Regina University, an MBA in Human Resources Management, and a Master's in Public Relations from Boston University, among other qualifications. Shelton is dedicated to enhancing student development and actively advises the Public Relations Student Society of America chapter at RWU.
